Healthy Snacks that Keep You Active at Work

It is very important to work for productivity but in order to do so, we have converted our bodies into machines. We feed them with fuel (right food) and in turn, it improves our productivity (improves energy levels and increases activeness).

So instead of having chocolates (which only have sugar and caffeine content) have amaranth or cholayi (popped cholayi and mix with 1 tsp jaggery).

Spinach “Queen of Greens” is one of the most beneficial leaves which not only gives therapeutic action on each and every system but spinach protects one’s life from cradle to grave as the development of the fetus in the womb to degeneration in old age. It is also helpful in curing today’s lifestyle disorders. So when you have cravings for chips replace the ordinary high sodium high-calorie chips with this healthy green chips which are baked, less salted and not processed.

4. Jowar Pops

Jowar is one of the most important cereals in our Indian diet but mostly we only know that jowar can be eaten as porridge, but jowar pops can be made (sorghum) into the preheated pan and cover with the lid. Cook the grains, shaking the pan like you would with popcorn until the grains begin to pop. So now when you have cravings for popcorn try this homemade jowar pops which are rich in various minerals which fulfil at least half of the RDA requirements.
