Soy Idli

Ingredients for Soy Idli
- ½ cup soybean granules (soaked overnight)
- ½ cup brown rice (soaked overnight)
- pinch of jeera
- ¼ cup curd
- salt to taste
Method
- Grind together soybean granules and brown rice with a pinch of jeera.
- Adjust the consistency of idli dough by adding curd.
- Add salt and keep the batter aside for 30-40 minutes.
- Steam the idlis in an idli maker.
- Serve with coconut chutney or Sambhar. For a variation, you may add a piece of ginger while grinding the soybean.
