If kapha dosha gets imbalanced in the body it causes obesity. living a sedentary lifestyle and eating more of sweet/salty/sour foods it causes the imbalance of kapha dosha in the body. We should follow simple Ayurvedic Tips to Reduce Belly Fat it will help us to have a healthy body.

Taking food which is not  too sweet ,starchy, oily, fried ,junk  will help to reduce fat. Ayurveda emphasises a lot on eating an early dinner between 6.30pm to 7pm. It is important to eat meals according to the biological clock and as per our dosha prakriti.

According to Ayurveda, water, if not taken at the right temperature and quantity, can imbalance the kapha dosha and increase belly fat. To remove the AMA (collected fat or undigested food) from the body, drinking warm or lukewarm water will be highly beneficial. It is advisable to drink 5–6 glasses of warm cinnamon /cumin water in a day to cut belly fat.


To lose belly fat, it is recommended to perform vigorous physical exercise like running, jogging, brisk walking, etc. Ayurveda suggests performing body heat-producing activities that help to melt and drain out the imbalanced kapha from the body. It is important to reduce stress levels by doing yoga, pranayama, and meditation.


A sound sleep for 6 hours at night is sufficient for an overweight individual. Excessive sleep at night or sleeping in the afternoon is not recommended in Ayurveda as it imbalances the kapha in the body. A disciplined sleep cycle will keep the metabolism and digestion healthy, and you will lose weight.

  • LEMONGRASS is a diuretic herb that  helps in shedding water weight and flushes harmful toxins out of the body.
