Weight Loss Ragi Soup
Ingredients for Weight Loss Ragi Soup
- Ragi Flour-1 Cup
- Mustard Seeds-1/2 Teaspoon
- Cumin Seeds-1/2 Teaspoon
- Oil- 1 Tablespoon
- Channa Dal-1/2 Teaspoon
- Urad Dal-1/2 Teaspoon
- Turmeric– A Pinch
- Green Chillies-2 Chopped
- Onions-1 Chopped
- Tomatoes-1 Chopped
- Curry Leaves- Few
- Coriander Leaves-1 Tablespoon Chopped
- Salt-To Taste
- Water-2 Cups
- Lemon Juice-1 Tablespoon
Method
- Heat a teaspoon of oil in a pan and add the Ragi flour, sort till you get a roasted aroma, now keep it aside.
- Heat the rest of the oil in a pan, add cumin and mustard seeds, let them splutter, now add the dals and fry till they turn golden brown.
- Now add the curry leaves, onions, and tomatoes, and fry, add some salt followed by water and bring to boil.
- Now add the flour to the pan while stirring it frequently. Mix it well, cover the pan and let it cook for 5 minutes on low flame.
- Now sprinkle lemon juice, chopped coriander and serve hot.
