Dahi Arbi

Ingredients for Dahi Arbi

  • 4-5 Small Arbis
  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 Tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Green Chilli, Slit into 2
  • 1 Cup Water
  • Salt to Taste
  • 1/2 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/3 Cup Curd


  1. Boil, peel and chop the arbis and keep aside.
  2. In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds.
  3. When the seeds begin to splutter, add green chilli and saute for 30 secs.
  4. Now add the arbis and sprinkle salt over them.
  5. Saute till golden brown.
  6. Now add red chilli powder and cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Lower the heat and add curd.
  8. Adjust the consistency by adding water.
  9. Let it simmer for 6-7 minutes and then turn off the heat.
