Fasting Vedique Plan For Pitta Prakriti


Pitta prakriti is a bio energy which is primarily made of fire and water elements.  It is the heat of our body that flows along with the blood to maintain our body temperature. This keeps the blood flowing and does not let it clot.

Pitta Prakriti symptoms

The pitta body type is one of medium height and build, coppery skin, light brown colour of hair, can easily put on and lose weight, the complexion of their skin is bright , pinkish and prone to allergies. They get a sound sleep, have excess sweat  and their hands and feet are always warm.

Those with pitta-dominant constitutions have a strong metabolism, good digestion and strong appetites. They like plenty of food and liquids and tend to love hot spices and cold drinks. Pitta people’s sleep is sound and of medium duration. 

Mentally, pitta people are alert and intelligent and have good powers of comprehension.

A pitta prakriti individual should have foods and drinks which are cold by nature . They should avoid too much oily , fried and spicy food. They should reduce the portion and frequency of food and eat only 3 to 4 meals in a day. 

Fasting Vedique Plan For Pitta Prakriti

Morning :  1 Soaked Fig ( Soak 1 Fig overnight in 30 ml of water , the next morning have the water and eat the Fig )
Breakfast :  Beetroot Smoothie ( use Apple ,Amla, Carrot ,  Pumpkin , a bit of ginger and few mint leaves )
+ Green Tea / Ayush Decoction
Lunch :  Saute  vegetables (  Broccoli , Mushrooms , Carrots  )   +  Quinoa Pulao ( 1 Medium bowl) + Lettuce Cucumber Salad

Evening :  A handful of peanuts / Fruits ( Sweet pineapple , Sweet Orange , Watermelon)
Dinner :  Pea and Mint Soup + Cabbage Rolls with Tofu
