Kapha Prakriti

Kapha Prakriti is the binding and anabolic dosha of the body which is a combination of Earth and Water element.It is slow, moist, cool, oily, heavy, smooth, and steady in nature and embodies structure, lubrication, and stability in the mind and body.

Symptoms of kapha Prakriti

Kapha is the energy that forms the body’s structure — bones, muscles, tendons — and provides the “glue” that holds the cells together. It lubricates the joints, moisturises the skin, and maintains immunity.It is the dosha that improves the strength, endurance and stamina. Their skin is oily and smooth. Physically, kapha people may gain weight easily and have a slow metabolism. They have thick skin and their bodies and muscles are well developed. They have a deep and prolonged sleep and are slow, calm and quiet by nature. 

Kapha prakriti people  have diseases caused by water and earth elements. The common diseases they suffer are flu, sinus, congestion, obesity, diabetes, water retention, and heaviness of the head. They should  have  two major meals in their diet , drink warm water/herbal teas and should be more physically active.

Intermittent Fasting Vedique Plan For Kapha Prakriti

Morning :  Coriander Seeds water  ( Soak 1 tsp/5 gms Coriander seed  overnight in 200 ml of water , the next morning have the water  )
Breakfast :  Apple Spinach Smoothie ( Apple , Spinach, ginger ,  Strawberry ,Black pepper powder , lemon juice )
Lunch :  Saute  vegetables (Saute cabbage and green bean) Vegetable Barley Porridge (  1 Medium bowl)
Evening : Roasted walnut 2 / Fruits ( Apple, peaches )
Dinner : Broccoli Onion Soup ( 1 Medium bowl)  +  Green moong bean sprouts stuffed bell peppers
