Soy Koftas
Ingredients for Soy Koftas
For Koftas:
- 1-cup soy bean flour
- 250 Gms bottle gourd, grated
- 1 tsp olive oil/salt to taste
- ½tsp chilli powder
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- 2-3 green chilies fine chopped
For Gravy:
- 2 onions finely chopped
- 2tomatoes finely chopped
- 3-4 cloves garlic fine chopped
- 1 tsp ginger finely chopped
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp melon musk seed’s paste
- 1 tsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup water
- 3 tsp coriander
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
- Add the bottle gourd, chilli powder, turmeric and salt.
- Close lid and cook for 5 min. Add the soy flour & green chillies and toss for 3-4 min. When cool shape into small round balls.
- Roast in a non-stick pan with very little oil till golden brown.
For gravy:
- Heat oil in a pan, sauté garlic and add onions/ginger; sauté till golden brown.
- Add tomatoes and all spices, paste and salt.
- Sauté for 4-5 min.add water and bring to a boil.
- Add the koftas and leave it on low heat for 5 min.
- Garnish with coriander
