A stuck weight is when your weight doesn’t show any fluctuation despite following a restricted diet.  Being stuck at a particular weight eventually happens to everyone who tries to lose weight. 1. Get rid of toxins accumulated in the body –  Liver is an important organ for detoxification and metabolism ,so when the liver is filled with toxins , the liver function is hampered . This leads to stuck weight . In such a scenario regular detoxification of the liver is a must – you can have cumin or fennel water as a morning detox drink,  and have it daily as it will enhance the functioning.

2. Follow a Kapha Balancing diet and lifestyle  – To keep your Kapha dosha in balance, try these

> Drink hot water frequent times a day

> Ginger or Cinnamon or Jasmine infusion twice a day

You must include anti -inflammatory foods in diet on regular basis like have ginger turmeric infusion – Boil 1 inch of ginger and 1 inch of raw turmeric in 200ml  of water and boil it for 5 mins , then sieve and add few drops of lemon and honey in it and drink in morning or at bed timeInclude 4-5 serving of raw salad and fruits in your diet.

4. Keep your gut clean

Gut detox can help clear toxins and balance the doshas, which lead to stronger digestive fire, and balance the cycles of elimination. A cleanse can be as simple as a half or full-day fast or a short vegetable juice cleanse.

  5. Meditation and mindfulness

Practising meditation on a regular basis will eventually develop mindfulness. As both are key components of ayurvedic detox. This will not only help in physical detox but also mental detox. By practising different kinds of breathing techniques, you achieve lower stress levels, decrease anxiety and helps you to disconnect from daily distractions thus increase creativity and self awareness. You can start with a 10 minutes session and can stretch upto 1 hour. You are encouraged to practice awareness while you eat, exercise and perform other daily tasks. This will stop you from binge eating.
